I never know what to say here.
Do I mention I went to high school in Japan to come across worldly? Do I say I have children? But only children that never get sick or have events that I need to attend? Do I say that I went shark diving in South Africa to sound cool? Or go the nerd route and say I have a premium Ancestry.com account? Did you know the 1930 census asked people if they owned a radio? Tell me more Ancestry.com! Do I delete all that and just get down to brass tacks? I’m a creative leader, writer and strategic thinker with experience agency-side and in-house. Do I tell you that I just stopped to Google the origin of “brass tacks” and it’s from the late 1800s and came from upholstering fine furniture. Fascinating. My generation just gave us “shook” and “thirst trap”. Do I make a sharp left turn from “thirst trap” and state that curiosity, thoughtfulness, and never pretending to know it all, is what I think makes a great creative leader?
Do I tell you how to contact me if you want to know more?
